Hello! My name is Zelena Cakmak, and I am the Director of Education for 2024.

Additionally, I am currently in my third year of my Bachelor of Laws

(Honours)/Bachelor of Criminology degree, and I have two cats – Mittens & Flick.

My role in the LTULSA is to create and organise different initiatives to (hopefully)

enhance learning for La Trobe law students alongside my incredible Education

Officers, Isabelle Ballek & Christine Mitropoulos. As of now, we currently run:

 101 Sessions for students to learn about legal placement subjects, study

techniques and extra-curriculars that can help you make the most out of your

learning;

 Subject Group Chats that run every semester for core law subjects for

students to bounce knowledge from each other; and

 Law Q&A’s that also run for core law subjects during exam season and are

hosted by high-achieving students to cram in some last-minute revision!

And of course, we hope to create new initiatives this year – so stay tuned to

LTULSA’s social media accounts for more updates! :)
