College of Law
The College of Law is the largest provider of Practical Legal Training (PLT) in Australia and we have been at the forefront of PLT in Australia since 1974. What sets up apart is our time honoured and innovative model of PLT, and the fact that we are at the forefront of the latest emerging trends in legal technology and innovation.
We offer PLT intakes in Victoria every single month, full time and part time, and so there is always an enrolment date to suit your specific needs. Our programs can be completed online, or through a hybrid model of face-to-face and online blended programs. Through the College’s Centre for Legal Innovation, an innovation and research focused think tank for the legal profession, we have embedded our PLT program with learnings and practical tools to future-proof our students for the next phase of legal practice that is evolving from the use of technology and other innovative changes. This has also included the College collaborating with industry leaders in digital transactions and legal tech start-ups.
The College has also recently partnered with Forage to run a free NewLaw Careers virtual internship that is available to law students, which will provide students with practical tasks and insights focused on the changing legal landscape. The College also has additional offices in New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom, ensuring that our national presence in Australia is enriched by our diversity through international connections and PLT training programs.
