Hello! My name is Pieter Shearer and I am a penultimate year law student and an active member of the La Trobe law community since my first year. I signed up for Law Camp as soon as I knew what it was and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I loved the social events in my first year, so I became an Activities Officer in 2025. Now, under my leadership as President, the LSA is committed to delivering excellent social, professional and competitive events that encourage students to get to know each other and to make connections with lawyers or law firms. Vice President (Secretary)
Hi, my name is Jade Luu, and I am the Vice President (Secretary) for 2026. My role consists of a lot of behind-the-scenes work - anything administrative, organising committee meetings, and providing executive support to the President. Overall, I work alongside the Executive leadership team to ensure that all LSA events run smoothly to make it the most enjoyable for you!

Vice President (Treasurer)
Adam Hamo is a third-year law student who joined the LSA in his first year. Last year, he served as Director of Commercial Careers, where he delivered the Careers Cocktail Night, firm presentations, and other professional development events. He is also Co Editor-in-Chief of the La Trobe University Law Review. Adam is a member of the LIV Young Lawyers Advocacy & Access to Justice Committee and is a member of the Discipline and Grievance Committee with the Australian Law Students’ Association.

My name is Khanh Lam Hoang, but most people know me as Lou. I am the Vice President (Sponsorship) of the LSA 2025-2026.
Sponsorship is one of the most exciting and meaningful parts of the LSA. My role allows me to connect with firms, build strong professional relationships, and secure support for the many events we run throughout the year. While I don’t manage a specific portfolio, I work closely with the executive team and receive incredible support from them to ensure our partnerships are well looked after.
Sponsorship plays a vital role in sustaining the LSA’s activities. It’s not just about funding — it’s about creating mutually beneficial relationships with firms, where their support helps us deliver valuable opportunities to students, and in return, we provide meaningful engagement and visibility through our sponsorship packages.
