My name is Nirav Patel, and I am the Director of Marketing for the Law Students’ Association in 2026.

Marketing is the voice of the LSA. If you see it or hear about it, it has come through our portfolio. Our role is simple: ensure every opportunity the LSA creates actually reaches you, and reaches you properly.

Law students are busy. If communication is unclear, inconsistent or forgettable, events fail no matter how good they are. My portfolio ensures that does not happen. We manage the LSA’s branding, social media, promotions, collaborations and overall public presence. Every post, campaign and announcement is strategic. It is designed to maximise engagement, attendance and impact.

Beyond promotion, Marketing protects the LSA’s reputation. We maintain a professional, cohesive image that reflects the standard of La Trobe Law. Whether it is Law Ball, Careers events, Competitions, Equity initiatives or Education forums, our job is to make sure the work of every portfolio is seen, respected and supported.

I work closely with my Officers: Sara, Stella, Elysia, Savi, Shakira and the wider Executive to ensure our messaging is clear, consistent and high-quality across the entire year. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is random. Everything is deliberate.

If we do our job well, you won’t just see LSA events, you'll feel like going to them.
